Terms of service

The service. Clearwork Book Formatting, a service of Clearwork Studio, formats the interior of a book you provide: a print PDF and an EPUB. We don't edit, proofread or rewrite your text, and we don't design covers or supply ISBNs.

Your manuscript. You confirm that you wrote the manuscript or have the right to have it formatted and published. We may refuse or cancel (with a full refund) any order that appears to infringe someone's rights, is unlawful, or is outside our scope.

Price and delivery. Prices are listed on the pricing page and paid upfront through Stripe. We deliver within 72 hours after we receive a complete intake with a manuscript link that opens for us. Delivery is a download link sent to your checkout email.

Corrections. Two rounds of corrections are included if you send them within 14 days of delivery.

Platforms. We prepare files to KDP's and IngramSpark's published specs. Those platforms decide what they accept, and we can't promise acceptance. Our refund policy explains what happens if a platform flags a problem we caused.

AI assistance. AI tools assist the formatting, and a person reviews every file before delivery.

Liability. The service is provided as is. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
